Chapter 01
It was on a Monday morning that I suddenly woke up with incredible headaches and strong feelings of dizziness.
At first I did not understand what was happening, my thoughts were totally confused and my memories were cloudy and somewhat distorted. He did not remember what had happened yesterday.
I held my forehead tightly in an attempt to ease the pain, and with my other available hand I grabbed onto what was in front of me to keep from falling. Once the shocking pain began to subside, another cold sweat sensation was felt throughout my body. Something inside me was scaring me, but I couldn't understand what it was. Along with this unpleasant sensation, it was followed by another strange sensation of chills that specifically surrounded the skin of my pale neck.
What the hell is this? I asked myself.
When I tried to swallow, my saliva felt heavy and cold, hard to swallow.
That creepy feeling around my neck seemed very real. My expression must be totally pale by now as I put my trembling hand to my neck to check. My fingers trembled slightly and fear overwhelmed me at what I would find, but when I rubbed my smooth skin, there was nothing there. My neck was in perfect condition.

But even so, I still felt that cold, dark sensation, as if something eerily similar to the sharp edge of a razor had pierced my neck and cut off my head.
For a moment I even thought that my head would soon detach from my body to fall to the ground and roll before my feet. But...
... I'm fine, right? Nothing happened to me. I checked my neck several times, but there was no cut or anything unusual. My neck was perfectly healthy and uninjured.
How weird.
In the midst of all this, I noticed that the pain in my head had subsided enough that I could think more clearly, although the feeling of dizziness and disorientation still persisted.

Once the impressive pain began to subside, a strange sensation of cold sweat was felt all over my body. Something inside me was frightening me, but I couldn't understand what it was. Along with this unpleasant sensation, another strange shivering sensation followed, specifically surrounding the skin of my pale neck.

Knowing how frowned upon these potion addicts are, a dark-haired young man on a rainy, bad weather Monday afternoon, was sitting at a table at the back of an old bar ingesting a newly acquired blue-toned potion while the background noise of laughter and shouting of inebriated people created an atmosphere that contrasted completely with the pale and somewhat emaciated state of the young addict.
"Hey, is that brat still there?" one of the drunks bumping jars with his companions as they laughed and chatted, noticed the young man sitting far away at the table and couldn't help but ask that.
